Entry Requirements

Applicants may qualify for direct entry into the programme through one of the following routes:

  • NCC Education Level 4 & Level 5 Diploma in Computing
  • ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Computing (Software Engineering)
  • Qualifi Level 4 & Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology
  • Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing (Software Engineering)
  • Successful completion of two years of university-level study in a relevant field

Other equivalent qualifications may also be considered, subject to review by NCC Education, WINC Online and the University of Bolton.

Learning Experience

Each unit is delivered through the NCC Education – WINC Virtual Learning Environment and includes weekly video lectures, interactive tutorial exercises, discussion forums, and live chat sessions with subject specialists. Students will also engage with a global learning community, gaining insights and perspectives from peers around the world.

Qualfication Structure

Students study three core units to achieve a total of 120 credits:

  • Undergraduate Project – 60 Credits
  • Agile Programming – 30 Credits
  • Enterprise Systems Development – 30 Credits

Academic Progression

Upon completion of the BEng (Hons) Software Engineering (Top-Up), you are eligible for Advanced Standing in the MSc Software Engineering program, students have flexibility to apply to UK and international universities after obtaining their bachelor’s degree.
